You can access the course independently when required, also enabling you to review the content as many times as you would like to, allowing you to absorb the information, at your own pace.
Whilst we have sought to make this course as interactive and engaging as possible, everyone is different. You will need to be able to work through the content independently and to work through the reflective activities sequentially to get the most out of the course. You will also need to practise the skills taught whilst working with your child to develop greater levels of confidence towards mastery.
The course is delivered online through pre-recorded videos with accompanying downloadable resources.
The target audience for this course are parents/caregivers/home schooling parents/home school organisations who want to teach their child/children to read and write effectively. The beginners course is designed for children from the ages of 2.5-6 years.
The course content is delivered in English. You will be expected to have an intermediate understanding and command of the English language to participate in the course. You also need to be able to download and print resources for the course content (laminating some resources will support their longevity).
There are no set assignments, however we do ask that you complete all of the reflective questions and activities in one lesson before starting the next lesson. Do make time between lessons to review your notes to help the learning ‘stick.’
Access is available for a year (365 days).
